Stop Violence Against Indigenous Women

this is something that touches me deeply and personally. The statistics mentioned in this video are horrendous. I know lots of women who have to deal with violence and one who was killed. Something has to be done about this and if you're reading this be aware that April is Sexual Assault Awareness month.

I really like the animation used in this very short clip (:58 secs) demonstrating amount of Indian blood. The explosion of interviews and their personal experiences with their own blood amount. I thought it was very effective.

March Point trailer

I would love to meet the ones who made this documentary happen. The young men in this film seemed to show sincereity and honesty. They just needed someone or something to ignite the passion for something bigger than themselves and it was whole-heartedly seen through the lens. Thank you to the person with the torch.
